Side Grin - 6in (150mm) Petty Culinary Knife Stainless Steel

“Side Grin” 6 inch (150mm) petty blade knife. The glinting stainless steel blade shines like a beautiful smile. A smile derived from gold leaf flake and shredded cash which shows through the clarity of the wa-style handle. Toward the butt of the handle there is a skull, grinning out of the side of the handle, it's face turned into the shreds of fiat paper, barely visibly except through the octagonal window in the butt of the knife. The blade is made from molybdenum vanadium [stainless] steel, which is a mid-grade stainless steel hardened to HRC 57. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done, won’t rust, and easy to sharpen. You won't have to baby this knife. The edge angle is sharpened to 15 degrees and stropped for a razor sharp edge. Full flat grind (tapers from spine to cutting edge). The blade is 6” (150 mm) long, 1.122” (29.5 mm) tall, & 0.073” (1.85 mm) thick at the spine with a distal taper (gets thinner as it goes to the tip). The total length of the knife is 10.7” (272 mm).
