“Blank Check” 6 inch (150mm) petty blade knife. A grinning skull peers out of the clear butt of this knife with an abundance of shredded cash and gold leaf flake floating behind it. A mysterious, dense white mist obsurbs the gold toward the blade, as it advances on the cash as well. Tabula rosa. A blank check. Includes sleek walnut saya shown.
The blade is made from molybdenum vanadium [stainless] steel, which is a mid-grade stainless steel hardened to HRC 57. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done, won’t rust, and easy to sharpen. You won't have to baby this knife. The edge angle is sharpened to 15 degrees and stropped for a razor sharp edge. Full flat grind (tapers from spine to cutting edge). The blade is 6” (150 mm) long, 1.122” (29.5 mm) tall, & 0.073” (1.85 mm) thick at the spine with a distal taper (gets thinner as it goes to the tip). The total length of the knife is 10.7” (272 mm).
