“Mustard” 6 inch (150mm) petty blade knife. This tart yellow knife offers the best there is of all the condiments! A healthy smattering of the stuff lines the inside of the handles, almost like something straight out of a food fight. This knife is a lot of fun. Some people say it needs its other half; we say mustard is just fine as it is once you learn to appreciate its challenging flavor profile. And this knife will definitely suffice as your go-to utility knife.
The blade is made from molybdenum vanadium [stainless] steel, which is a mid-grade stainless steel hardened to HRC 57. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done, won’t rust, and easy to sharpen. You won't have to baby this knife. The edge angle is sharpened to 15 degrees and stropped for a razor sharp edge. Full flat grind (tapers from spine to cutting edge). The blade is 6” (150 mm) long, 1.122” (29.5 mm) tall, & 0.073” (1.85 mm) thick at the spine with a distal taper (gets thinner as it goes to the tip). The total length of the knife is 10.7” (272 mm).
