“Pluma de Las Muertas” 10in (250mm) k-tip gyuto chef knife. This amazing gyuto is the perfect chef knife for the dia de los muertos theme lover. The handle was created starting with a slab of black dyed and stabilized maple. I inlaid some cool sugar skull designs into the wood and filled them with pink resin. Then I covered that with clear resin to display the skulls and wood in all their awesomeness. The herringbone pattern damascus blade can represent many things. You could see a skeletal pattern, the teeth of a saw blade, or the plumes of a feather.⠀Includes the sleek walnut saya shown. ⠀
The gyuto inspired blade is made from VG-10 steel core clad with layers of stainless for durability (and it looks awesome). Our handles are a hybrid style that makes them extremely comfortable to use, no matter your knife grip preference. An ambidextrous recess at the bolster area improves pinch grip comfort and stability. The full handle also provides plenty of space for a standard grip.
